Here are some photos from the spring musical that DS was in at his school last night. The low lighting and lots of movement makes it really hard to get good photos without flash, but these aren't too bad.

Officers Lockstock and Barrel (my DS is the one of the left). The Bus Stop letters and bus were made by my Cricut!!

One of the group numbers. The dancers are blurry (they were moving!:rotfl:). DS is the 2nd from the left at the top.

Getting ready to throw the good guy and hero of the show off the roof. DS liked playing a bad guy!

Officer Barrel (my DS - he's on the right) telling Officer Lockstock that he loves him.

This picture is super blurry, but there was so much movemnt. This is Officer Barrel (my DS) getting beaten to death by a mob.

The grand finale! The words "Public Amenity No. 9" were done on my Cricut!!!

Officers Lockstock and Barrel (my DS is without the hat) after the show. Look how short is hair got cut!!!! I love it and think it looks great, but he wants it a little longer (at least touching his ears - he says they are cold!:rotfl:)

Wonderful pics and a very handsome son. I have the same trouble with our camera although this on at least takes pics in our school gym thank god.

Great Pics!!

It wont take long for the hair to grow back...

He looks perfect for the part though... And that's what it's about right, playing the part and looking the part?

Handsome dude :thumbsup2

Tell him he should be grateful he lives in FL where it is a bit warmer for those ears. ;)

Those are GREAT pictures from a show! You must have been Very proud of him :)

Awesome Stephanie!!! Very handsome. You and you dh must be so proud of him. Tell him I LOVE the hair cut!!!

Thanks for sharing them with us.

I really think the hair cut helps make the role. It looks nice. Makes his face the focal point and it is a totally cute face.

I think you got some great photos to scrap. :thumbsup2

And totally cool that the Cricut was put to good use. :)

Too cool!!

Tip for the camera next time. I found that switching to continuous mode, the first pic is blurry but the following frames are much clearer. I did that when we went to the Nutcracker and the pics were pretty good.

Thanks everyone! DH & I are really proud of him. He gives his all in these shows and loves everything about theatre whether he's on stage or behind the scenes. Tonight's show was even better than last night. I was at the end of the front row this time so I got a different angle on some pictures. Tomorrow night I'm just going to go and enjoy the show and not take pictures!

Buffy, my camera is just a point and shoot so I don't have a continuous mode. DS has a DSLR, but I haven't worked with it much and haven't figured out how to get all the lights and displays to not be on. They won't let me take any photos if I have any kind of light showing. I know DS's camera has a continuous mode. I used it for a rehearsal for his regionals routine and it was cool watching each little move as you advanced through the pictures!

My canon point and shoot has a continuous mode. I used it for the play because I wasn't sure if we could take pics.

Check through your menu.

I think those are great!
What was the show? Is DS a jr or sr this year, I cant remember.
He's such a cutie and with his hair that short he reminds me of my sisters son.
I think his hair looks good but when I picture him I see all the photos from the cj's!
Is he going to major in the arts? Has he ever thought of working for Disney and does his class get to go up for trying out for all those awards like last year?
Sorry for all the questions but I need to clean out my pm box again and its full on both sides so I need DH but he's fighting with the lawn!
Did you finally go and just watch the show?

Is he going to major in the arts? Has he ever thought of working for Disney and does his class get to go up for trying out for all those awards like last year? Yes, he wants to get a Fine Arts degree. He's looking at quite a few colleges. One that he's looking at is the University of Central Florida. They have a really good theatre programa and he likes the idea of being by WDW.
I'm not positive what you mean by the awards, but they are going to compete at State ITS competition in April. DS will be competing in set design. Colleges also send representatives to this competition and since DS is a junior he can audition this year. He's been working hard on a monologue and a song.

Did you finally go and just watch the show? Yes, last night I just watched. I had my camera and it was so hard to not whip it out, but I just sat and enjoyed it. I had missed so much having the camera to my face most of the time on the previous shows. I took the camera last night because I was hoping they'd do a cast photo. And they did, but it was such a huge cast and there were so many trying to take a photo that I couldn't get a great shot.

My answers to your questions are above in blue!:goodvibes
