Ok how is this? I used to pay $41.95 (+ taxes fees and unlisted was $4.95E extra)for my Verizon Freedom phone service. And I pay $9.94 for Walmart Connect ( owned by compserve/AOL/Time Warner) It included all US Long distance. Relatives live all over US. So I go out at lunch and purchase a newspaper and in it there is a flyer for the same phone service I currently have for $39.99 so there alone I save $2. I drop my unlisted, now that we have the do not call list. There is another 4.95 per month. I dropped Call wave as my 2 DD's 17 are always on the phone (Cell) and online. So calling home was almost impossible. I started IM'ing from work to tell them to call me when important. Now I can be online and on the phone. House rule no online and on the phone at same time.
I look into DSL ,slow one not the mega fast one, @$14.99 per month. So I add:
$9.94 walmart connect
$2. savings on new phone service
$4.95 savings on not having unlisted
$3.95 Callwave
$20.84 total towards DSL
Ok I am probably late getting on this bandwagon but I did catch up to some of you right
Yes phone still has call waiting, caller ID and voice mail ncluded same price.
YEA!!! OK so i dont save much but I get DSL for same price as dialup. YEA!! and less stress trying to call home I hope.
