What is the best form to give to your child to bring to wdw?

I got disney dollars for the kids, The thing about the disney dollars is when they give change its regular money they have to keep up with, If its the gift card they only have to keep up with one card. But if that card gets lost they have lost everything.. I give a set amount of dollars per day. If they loose it that day not all is lost. If there is any left over ( Yeah Right) it can be traded in for cash. That cant be done with the gift card. My kids just like the dollars better.

I say disney dollars too. You can dole them out in smaller amounts...if they loose the card...it is gone! Plus, they are so darned pretty.......

This weekend at the Disney Outlet store. I asked if they sold them at all the stores and she said most of them.

They are very cute, Dumbo on one side and the castle on the other. I don't know what is on the 5 or 10 amounts. I bought all ones! I wish I had bought some 5's and 10's too.

Even older ds thought they were cool. I asked if he preferred the dollars or a gift card. He said the dollars! One ds is 4 and the other 14.

We are going to get more over the next few months.

Depends on the age...

If you have an older child, you could always use the gift card as an opportunity to teach them about credit card use/not getting in over their heads/keeping it in a safe place....

I guess it also depends on how much you were thinking of putting on a card!

We are fans of the Disney dollars and even bought Disney dollars 6 months in advance to pay for our trip last year. Everything we bought, we bought with Disney dollars. We purchased them from several Disney stores in our area.

My daughter preferred the Disney dollars because, at the time, they had Cinderella on them and she's a huge fan.
