Has anyone heard a rumor that that Gamestop may do the trade in a DSlite and get credit towards a DSi promotion again? I know they did it a few months ago, but the kid I talked to yesterday didn't have any idea whether or not they'd be running that particular promotion again this holiday.

DD only wants a pink DSi, she's been using her dad's old DSlite for the last few years and I'd love to be able to trade an old system (still works great though) for something she really wants. It's the only thing (well, except for Lanie's Camper ) that she's asked for this year, so I'd like to find a good deal.

Thank you for the tip! I was going back and forth about getting on at all or possibly getting the DSi. I had to call several stores before I found a store that had them in stock & was able to reserve a blue one for $89.

I am so glad that I found this thread. I am on the hunt for two ds lite units for my older boys. I don't want any of the other accessories, b/c I will need a nerf case for them. DH is on his way to radio shack and if this one doesn't have it, our town has one more to check. Crossing my fingers, we can find two of them in non-pink.

Well, our radio shacks are dumbed down. There are NO DS units carried at any of our RS in our town, they have never carried them to begin with, so have nothing to put on clearance.

The Girl at my Radio Shack had no idea where people were getting this info. Said that she had been getting calls about clearanced Xbox's for $125 that is false. Anyway, she went and got the Ds Lite and scanned and sure enough it was $89!! I got the Cobalt Blue. I also got a case set for around $3. Thank you so so much!!

My radio shack also had the accesory kits on clearance too. I got a kit that included a zippered case, 3 stylus pens, screen protectors, and earbuds for 3 or 4 dollars.
