We are going with my nieces 4 & 7 and my DS9
They can go on all the Pirate Hunts and Sassagoula River Expetidion at PO, but everything "extra" seems to be for 10 and under....anything I can sign my DS13 up for?

Thanks :confused3

That's a good question! My 15 yo wants to do the Segway tour but we have to wait until next year when he's 16. I did some checking for other "extras" he could do and the only things I've found so far are the surfing lessons at Typhoon Lagoon, fishing excursions (pretty expensive) and various tours. The tour info is listed here http://allearsnet.com/btp/tours.htm#vmk. I think my son would only enjoy the Dolphins in Depth or the Aqua Tour (both at Epcot) but again it will be pricey since they must be accompanied by an adult. We did send him to DisneyQuest (with his Dad) one year and he enjoyed that. Good luck!

Thanks, guys
It seems like Disney has a big hole in it's plans.
Some of those ideas are good, but like you said, pricey.
Also, needs more variety.

Even the same kind of things they have for younger kids, but with an older kids twist. DS would love to go on something piratey. but not with a 4 year old.

Bummer....maybe DQ is where we'll be.

Exactly my dd loves pirates and she is almost 13. I also wanted something she could do without me or dh like the little ones get.

How about giving the teens the gift they most want -- to take along a friend and sleep in late some mornings.

Last year we let DD(14) take her best friend along (yes we paid for all of her trip, because we love her too! What the heck, you only live once and it's just money!). She had the most awesome time, best friend and her didn't complain even once! I let them have a couple of mornings that they got to sleep in, afternoons of just hanging by the pool. I gave them a cell phone and let them go the opposite way of the rest of us in the parks.

She was happy, I was happy, the entire family was happy!

Only 1 problem, she can't really decide which of her girl friends to invite next year!

My tweens are going to Disney Quest for the first time this winter.
That might be an idea if he is a video freak.
