DS pin sale?

On Dizpins someone posted they were told there will be another Saturday morning DS pin series coming up. Sounds like it will mirror last years YoD on timing and issuance.

SM at my local store wasn't sure if they were discontinuing pins or making way for a new series. Time will tell!

Pins still on sale today. When I asked the manager she whispered " They are Buy 1 Get 1". Seemed like quite a secret since there were no signs stating that they were on sale. Bought several for my DD for our trip to DL in Feb.

The SM in Omaha said she received no signage; this sale was strictly word of mouth.
When DH was in IA yesterday, he said they had two SMALL signs in the store. One on the counter and one on the rack. But he said they weren't very big at all and hardly noticeable.
He said they just seemed very pleased SOMEONE (guest) knew about the sale!

While the Sweetheart Dolls and the pins are two different animals, I did ask a
CM why the dolls were on sale. Were they getting rid of them, or getting more in? She stated very strongly that the sale was to make room for a whole new line of doll clothes.

Maybe the reasoing behind the pin sale and the doll sale will be the same? (Hey, we can hope!)

The Lincoln store had a nice big sign above the pin stand-buy one get one free, we were told the sale would last probably 1 week. Added some new pins to our bags and a bunch of traders.
