My son came home with a 70 on his science test and now needs to correct his wrong answers. The answers that he gave seems right to me (although I might be wrong....it just sounds right, ya know?) Can someone help? I have looked online for the past couple of hours and I just can't seem to find the right answer to fit. I will post what he wrote as his answer
1--How do we see colors? (if it helps, you can give an example)
2--What makes some objects look black? white? gray?
Thanks so much
These were his answers that he got wrong.
1--We see colors through our cones, for an example when we look at something our cones are processing information about that color and the colored cones mixes red, blue & green to make that color.
2--Black is being absorbed by other colors and light is reflecting it.
White is being reflected by other colors and light.
Gray is being 1/2 absorbed and 1/2 reflected.
