HI All

Its my DS bithday beginning of next month and he will be 9.
He is a football fanatic and plays in a league for a team. I am really stuck for ideas for a party for him as I really would like to be a bit different its just everyone has their parties at the club (he has for the past 2 years!) where he plays football. Dont get me wrong its a nice party but when you go to one nearly every week its getting a bit boring!
So does anyone have any ideas what I can do for about 20 football mad boys that does not cost an absoulte fortune!!. I have tried the local lesiure centre and they will only accept a maximum of 12!!! :confused3 .
Thanks for any ideas!

well my idea is probably a bit boring and you'v eprobably thought of it anyway but how about organising a small footi etournament? perhaps a devise your own rules matches that allow the numbers to dwindle slightly with each loss so you end up with one clear winner. or base each player around a world cup team. party bags could be themed for each country and you could get them all to sing each others national anthems?

I see you're in the right area for it so why don't you take them on the tour of the mighty Riverside, home of the best team in the north east, Middlesbrough.

I don't know how much it costs but I don't think it's expensive.

and if they're not sensible enough to support the Boro I think Newcastle and Blunderland do them as well!

Sorry Graeme but a few of them including my DS have been lucky enough to be given a place at the M'bro Football Accademy so seeing and training at the the Riverside and Herlingshaw is a weekly thing!!....(not forgetting mums taxi service!!:) )

Hi, I was going to suggest the Boro thing too, I'm just down the a19 from you! Does the stadium hire out rooms for parties/events? We've ate in the restaurant on sunday lunch and it was very nice but maybe a bit too old for a gang of boys?

My DS was 9 in August but he requested bowling or cinema then a burger!

Sorry!

Lynn
