DS and I were discussing "The Day After Tomorrow"

Would you stay in your house if the events that transpired happened or would you head for the border? DS says he would stay put and bundle up and burn things to keep warm. I said it would be better to run for it. I know this is total fiction but what would you do?

I would have to say head for the border! After dealing with the winter here in upstate NY (we are only 30miles from the Canadian border) I don't think I could deal with the snow like they had in the movie. -38 is bad enough!

Based on the movie alone, I would have stayed put... mostly because unless I had hours of warning for this (more like a day) there is no way I would have made it through that storm. Those who stayed inside survived in NYC so I'd do the same.
