I am planning to bring DS's birth certificate on our next trip because he will be 2 still, but just a few weeks shy of 3. I am curious if the gate agents are going to stop us most of the time we enter the parks, or not. What has been your experience?

TIA

on our last trip our ds was one month shy of turning 3. we too took his birth certificate just in case we needed proof. Nothing was ever mentioned to us and nobody ever asked to see his birth certificate. Many time as i was approaching the gates the cm's would just open the stroller gate and motion us through.
Have a fun trip!

Now this was at DL, but took my DD2 and 364 days old who was super extra tall and no one batted an eye!!!

99.99% of the time there is going to be no problems. Most of the CMs take your word on it. I have seen 1 CM get huffy about it and request a BC (I think he was having a bad day) but this is not the norm.

We also took DD 2 weeks prior to 3rd BD. Had no problems. We did get a little attitude from one of the CM's at gate who stated "sure she is only 2". Thank goodness he didn't persue it since I didn't bring a birth certificate. We are planning another trip this May just 2 weeks shy of 2nd DD BD. I am not going to bother taking it this time either. My luck is that I would lose it and I don't need the added stress of worrying about keeping track of a birth certificate. Have a fun trip.
