Thrilled doesn't begin to cover it!This class has been touch and go all year, stressful as heck. He said his teacher said she was going to start grading the test in class, which is not the norm, but went in the order they were turned in. DS was 2nd ( which is odd, he is NOT a good test taker) so she calls him up and he was like, oh man, this can't be good, she finished grading it too fast..probably got them all wrong etc. She had her head down looking at the test and then smiled and said "Well done! perfect score" He about died. Then he asked if he could see it for proof...and she high fived him.
That class has been a nightmare for him, stuff stolen, kids fighting in class, teacher really had her hands full. He also got a B- on his Physics final..whatever I gave him for dinner last night I am feeding him all next year! and get this...his PE final was right before the math one. the PE final is a triathalon...swimming, bike, running. We were freaking out that he was going to be wiped out from that going into math. I know he is a swimmer, and loves to run but the biking in the weightroom, blah...so he knew he had to push himslef to get the time he needed. He came in 4th, not too bad. I think he should get a lottery ticket today, lol. Academic are not his thing, believe me..so this day is just well. so bizarre and wild! We are not used to top scores with him, lol. Now his sister has a little competition. She got 100% on her Genetics final in HS, so now they each have a pefect final.
Now if only his ACT went as well...

and he has summer school too, for Government...trying to get it out of the way so no worries on it Senior year with sports. Fortunately it is a condensed class of only 14 sessions...so he will be done by 4th of July.
So, for those of you with the same math concerns we have/had there is hope!!!!! Miracles DO happen!
