We are going to WDW for my DS's 1st birthday. We won't be there during it but we are going to celebrate it. Should we make a big deal to CM's about it? I didn't tell CRO when I made my Ressie or when I made my ADR's but now I wonder if I should have.
I know DS will not remember this trip except from photos & videos. I can't tell his personality yet (he's only 9 months) to see if he will be scared by a lot people. Should I just leave it as is and tell them at the restaurants when we check in at the podium. I do want to get him the birthday buttons from the parks. For DH's Birthday we got a free upgrade at CBR to a waterview room, but I don't think a 1 year old will notice the view from our room at CSR.
Thanks for the opinions!

We celebrated both my DD's 1st b-days at WDW. I would pick one Character meal & celebrate it there. Even though he will not remember it the pictures of him blowing out a candle with a character will be priceless. I have pictures with Pooh at the crystal palace & Mickey from Chef Mickeys that are great. My youngest is 9 so you should double check that they still have a cupcake with a candle for birthdays and you do not have to order a cake.

Thanks, I guess it would be Chef Mickey's then. We have ADR's at 4 different character meals during our trip (thanks to free dining) and I think that is the only place we will see Mickey, I don't think DS would want a picture with a princess hanging on the wall as his 1st birthday picture when he gets bigger.
