DS fell and hit his head on a hollow metal thing. He cried very hard for a minute or two but now seems fine. Is there anything I can watch for that might indicate a more serious injury?

Just went through about a months of falls with my DS (15 mos). My doctor told me to look for vomiting, disorientation, excessive crankiness, anything out of the ordinary. Good luck!

I heard once that you should watch for a bump that goes in instead of sticking out.
All of the things mentioned above too.

If in doubt, call the peds office/answering service.

Watch for diallated pupils and if he gets tired or lethargic or sleepy it could be signs of a concussion... hope all is well.

unequal pupil signs, or his pupils not responding to changes in the light are signs. If those happen you should get him to a doctor pretty quickly to be seen.
