Anyone here have experience drying fresh herbs from your garden? I have some basil, oregano, cilantro and parsley. I did google it but I wanted some first hand experiences from you guys.

Thanks :hippie:

When I was growing up, I would bundle up my herbs and tie them off with strings, then hang them upside down from nails on the sides of the shed (no AC and enclosed) and leave them until brittle, then bring them inside the nice cool house. At that point, we'd either hang them above the stove or put them in glass jars.

I just tie them off and dry them outside on the back porch.

I tried to dry them inside one year and it drew ants into the house so from now on its always outside!
