Do makers like this actually exist? We had some that did come off easy, Active Minds brand, but now I can't get them at Target anymore. Any other brands I've tried are terribly hard to wipe off and that is soon after something is written. They hardly come off at all if my kids color on the wipe off books and *gasp* close the book and leave it there a day or more. Anyone find dry erase markers that work well? Thanks

I gave the school dry-erase markers from Dollar Tree and they seem to wipe off easily. Also a dry magic eraser works great to wipe them off.

The best I have found were from Lakeshore Learning...It's a really great store, with lots of educational goodies. (And there's one in Maplewood (close to the mall, don't remember exactly where it is), so not too far for you to go.) I bought a set that had (I think?) four colors in it. They were easy for my 4 yo to hold--not like that big fat ones you find some places, and they erased easily..but didn't smudge.
