Vicks Vapor Rub. I slather it all over my feet then put on 100% cotton socks and keep it that way all night long. After a couple of days the dry cracked feet are much much better.

Oh Dear and Wise Diser...
:worship:

Where oh where do you get your 100% cotton socks?
This is my stocking stuffer for DH every year
and I can't find them anywhere!!!

help

please...

I agree with some pp's -

First off, make sure you're drinking enough water.

Second, as someone said, it could be fungal. And putting regular lotions on it could just make the issue worse if that's the case. So I would first try an athlete's foot cream and then see if it's gets better.

If it's not fungal -
Exfoliate with a pumice stone in the shower or buy something like a PedEgg.
Then use a heavy foot cream/ointment like Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Cream.
Once it's not terribly dry and cracked, I would switch to something lighter and use daily, like L'Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream (looooooove that stuff!).

Miracle Foot Cream works the best, IMHO. My daughter has terrible heels and this works awesome. You can buy it at CVS for about $10 but the tube lasts a really long time.

I read an interview with one of the Kardashian sisters ( yes, I know) and they said they used Vaseline. So I tried putting it on one night and then put on socks and it worked great! I now do it once a week.

OOOH--I share beauty secrets with the Kardashians!!!:dance3:

Another vaseline and white socks user here, apply a thick layer of vaseline just before bedtime your feet/heels will absorb it over night, feet will look great the next morning.

Once a week, I slather vasoline all over my feet (don't rub in). Wrap them up in saranwrap and leave on all night. You will be amazed at how they feel the next day. Be careful when you walk though, it is slippery. I also use a ped egg...especially in the summer since I always wear sandals.

I use the Mary Kay Satin Hands a few times a month and then reg Aveeno lotion everynight before bed. Works for me!

I had read in a magazine to use stridex pads on your heels of your feet then put cream on them. I've tried it and it works. I take a shower, use the stridex pads, wait for it to dry then put cream.

I use a pumice stone in the shower, and rub Vaseline or a generic Eucerin cream on my feet every once in a while and wear socks to bed. I have tried a Pedegg but it doesn't work well on my feet. I would LOVE to have a professional pedicure someday, but I have a steady hand with nail polish and the pumice/lotion does a good job...I can't justify the cost of a pedi when I can do a nice job myself! (My husband and I renewed our wedding vows last week and I planned on getting a pedi, but life got in the way and I did my feet myself. Everyone at the ceremony asked where I'd had my feet "done.")

Another vote for the PEDEGG and Vaseline with Cocoa Butter. I use the PEDEGG about 3 times a week, and pumice in the shower everyday. Every time I use the PEDEGG, I also use Vaseline. The days I pumice, I use Gold Bond Ultimate healing foot therapy cream (it is with the regular body lotions in a white with blue letters tube) and I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS put socks on immediately after putting on lotion or Vaseline. I have found that the Vaseline with cocoa butter has extra moisture in it and works a bit better for me.

My heals were really dry and cracked, and after doing this for a few days, my feet were baby smooth!! My boyfriend LOVES the way my feet look and smell (YAAAAA for cocoa butter)!

I use the Ped Egg and Heeltastic. Before using Heeltastic, I had to use the file side (the one that's like a cheese grater) of the Ped Egg on a regular basis. Now, I just use the buffer side (the one that's like fine sandpaper) once a week, and the Heeltastic at night. Love it.
