Dry Cleaning????

DH is planning on sending out to the dry cleaner on board the magic........ Anyone have a bad experience we need to know about prior???????
What about the cost and turnaround time???? I think he is planning on sending several shirts, and a couple of pairs of pants and some shorts........

Don't have a price sheet, but when we sent DD's formal gown for cleaning it came back a few hours later. Cost was equivalent to shore side dry cleaning.

You can also have DCL press your clothes for 50% of dry cleaning prices.

I sent my son's pants out to be cleaned, and I believe it was either $2.50 or $3.50 for next day service. I didn't think that was bad. It was very convienient, I gave them to the cabin steward and he took care of it all and delivered them the next day.

We did this a couple of times on board ship. We had a couple of things laundered and a few things dry cleaned. Prices were comparable to shore side dry cleaning. It was very convenient. Like kajohn posted we put everyting in the bag hung it on the door for the cabin steward to take and it was back by 5pm the next day. You can have same day service for an extra charge. We decided next cruise we are not taking so many clothes and we are just going to have them cleaned mid-week.

Thanks for the info!

The more I listen to DH's plan the better it sounds...... less ironing for me pre-cruise.......... less lifting and carrying for DH. This is our 3rd cruise with kids and they just take up so much room in the suit case!! OK.... yall know I ment their clothes, not them.......
