Dry Cleaning on Board

Anyone have experience with this service? I have read that it is available in the actual DCL brochure--felt like being unfaithful to get info that way instead of somewhere "unofficial" on the net. Is the turnaround time same day? Are the prices a bazillion dollars, or just the same premium type pricing I would experience at an upscale hotel?

The first afternoon of our cruise in November - I sent out my husband's suit/ both DS's suit jacket and three dress shirts to be pressed (not drycleaned) The cost was only #13 for all which I thought was very reasonable. We gave them to the room stewart before going to dinner the first night and we had them back by 5 the next day which was great since we had our formal night the second night. They are quite efficient.

We loved this service. We had a suit dry cleaned and 8 shirts/blouses washed and ironed. I knew we were going to do this so I packed them dirty . Like the poster above, if you have it picked up one day it is back by 5pm the next. We also had some laundry done later in the cruise. I did do 2 loads of laundry on deck 7 but in retrospect in the time it took I should have just sent the laundry out to be done. Hey, we are on vacation right??

FYI, the laundry service is EXTREMELY experienced. They keep costumes (uniforms in non Disney speak) clean for a crew of 950.

The service is excellent and we found it to be very reasonable, in fact..next time we will take fewer clothes and get them cleaned all week, instead of dragging so much along with us.

You put them out one day and they are ready the next.

We had my Dh's shirt pressed, my gown (no sequins or beads) pressed and 2 shirts cleaned. It was approx $5. We gave then to room stewardess as soon as we unpacked and had them back when we returned from breakfast the next morning.
