Hi folks,

If I get my dress pants and dress shirts to my stateroom attendant right upon getting into our room around 1:00 or 2:00, only wanting them pressed, is there any chance they be back by first seating dinner?

Call dry cleaning directly it's faster. They have a 3 hour turn around. You pay double for the 3 hour turn around.

I haven't tried for same day service, but I have gotten pressing back the next day.

From the DCL website:

Take advantage of full-service laundry and dry cleaning, available with pickup directly from your stateroom, where you’ll find convenient laundry bags and forms. Please notify your Stateroom Host or Hostess or Guest Services by 9:00 AM for pickup and next-day return. Express Laundry Service is available at an extra charge.

Fwiw that first night's dinner is casual. They know that people might not even have their bags yet, so you don't need to I be worried about dressing up.

I personally like wearing a dress every night and dh and ds like looking nice as well, but the first night we are a lot more relaxed.

Same here. Twice I've carried my tux in my day bag and on access to the cabin have given it to our steward so it can be pressed. It's always back by mid-afternoon the next day. I also carry a pair of dress pants or nice khakis and a polo or aloha shirt in my day bag that I can hang up and wear that evening, as I don't like wearing the clothes I've been wearing all day to dinner.

I normally do something similar for the first night, but I loathe having to go iron at the start of my vacation. I know, I'm a bum.
