Thanks so much for this list, this is great.

Did they have pricing for pressing clothes only (ironing?) -without washing (so if our close are wrinkled from the trip but still clean)

Pressing used to be 1/2 the cost of cleaning. But, if the washers have gone to $2 I think that is an increase since my September trip (when I did laundry). I always felt the pressing fee was very reasonable and would send our formal attire out.

I'm so excited about the pressing service. We bought DH a tux from Ebay and since it was jammed in a box for shipping it desperately needs to be pressed. We were going to send it out to be pressed here but then we would have to worry about it getting wrinkled again in the suitcase. Best to just wait until we get to the ship.

So do we just give the stuff that needs to be pressed to our cabin steward? I figure that we'll give it to whoever as soon as we unpack it so that we have it back in plenty of time.

Pressing - you need to get it out as soon as you unpack. There will be a bag and slip to fill out in the closet in your cabin, standard cost is for 24 hour service. I always send out the guiys jackets as I can't seem to pack them without wrinkling them, even the the plastic bag and all.

Good to know ;)

FYI for those who were going to do there own load or two here's something for you :)

Locally Target stores carry a bottle of 'Tide on the Go' (in the travel goody area) and it was only $1.00!! Its good for four loads. Picked up a box of 6 fabric sheets for $1.00 also. Both fit in my little carry on bag I used for bathroom stuff. Did put mine in a baggie just in case of leakage.

Thought it was a good deal.

Speaking of Laundry:

We were on a ten day trip so I spent alot of time in laundry rooms. While on the Wonder, I went to get clothes out of dryer and there was ink all over my husbands jeans, shorts and shirts. It's not like I didn't look in the dryer first. I cleaned out the lint collector and looked for others clothes. But I didn't notice the smudges of ink on the barrel, I guess because I wasn't looking for it. My husband was so upset. Fast forward, Disney Laundry was able to get all the stains out and didn't charge me a dime. I was very pleased. In the future, I will keep in mind I am not at home and other idiots are using these machines.

I can barely bring myself to do laundry while at home I don't know how I would drag myself to do it on a cruise, 10 day or otherwise...

Just another note about bringing your own detergent...I found a small bottle of liquid All detergent at Walgreens in their laundrey aisle. I don't remember how many ounces it was, but it was enough for 6 loads of laundrey and it only cost $1.29....much cheaper than buying the single load detergents on the ship!

I usually just bring a ziploc of cheer powder and another with downy sheets. when i use it up, it gives me more room for souvenirs ;)
