Dry Cleaner Alterations...how long?

I have a pair of suit trousers I need altered. I need them hemmed and, if possible, the seat taken up a bit. How long do you think it will take? I'm going to an out of town wedding this weekend.

This is what I get for not thinking about wardrobe until the last minute. My DW warned me.

We used to quote about a week when I worked a dry cleaner shop. If they're simple alterations, they might be able to help you soon.

A couple of other ideas:

1.) You may be able to get faster alterations at a high-end department store. They do a lot of alterations and will probably have someone on staff who can do the changes quickly (possibly for an additional fee)

2.) If you're really in a pickle, double-sided hem tape will hold up your pant legs for the day. You can buy it at most fabric stores.
