Drunks at EPCOT during Spring Break on weekends? Compared to Food and Wine?

I was at Epcot last Spring Break 2020 and didn't notice any issues with drinking.

We did EPCOT on a Friday night in March 2020 (Flower/Garden) and found it lovely. We were able to sample a lot of food and enjoy our loop around the World Showcase. We did EPCOT last night (Saturday + Holiday Fest) and found it packed! No issues with people drinking but such long lines. We ended up getting a pretzel in American pavilion and real food at Mexico (end of our loop). The lines were so long, at least in our opinion. Also, not much entertainment after dark (other than the processional which we didn't do). We did sit back in the UK garden area, even though no band, was a really nice break on a bench away from the crowds. They had a nice photo spot lit up with a spot light in front of a xmas tree back there, so we liked watching the families take photos. Then the spot light went out, so not sure what happened then -- it was just a dark corner.

That was Father Christmas' corner, the UK Storyteller! They must've left the light on for a bit after his last appearance but had to turn it off at some point.

Ha! We definitely didn't see him (that would have been fun) but the light worked so nicely for guests too!

Thanks to all of you for commenting!

To clarify a bit - I’m not lookinh to visit food/ alcohol booths or even encountering some boisterous people. I really was just looking forward to soaking in the countries in the afternoon - all the shops and cultural stuff. ( I think most of my kids are finally old enough to appreciate the non ride aspects). So if I can walk country to country, and we aren’t getting hassled, and I’m not worried about being separated from the kids, I think that would be ok.

right now Iam looking at the parks on Sunday March 6 and Saturday March 12 (beginning of Florida spring break). So I know it’s going to be crowded, but moving those epcot days to the weekdays has other planning consequences I won’t go into for brevity.

Regardless of your planning issues, drop the Saturday if at all possible if you don't want big crowds. If you are lucky and have bad weather that would drive crowds away too.

I appreciate that - but Saturday is my last day at WDW and the first day of Florida spring break. I'm thinking every park will be packed. Won't every park be packed?

Every park may be packed, but you have especially indicated that you wish to enjoy World Showcase without the crowds. Saturday is the worst possible day for that unless there's something keeping the locals away.

I have never been a big drinker, and I really, really don't see the appeal of drinking around the world. It's presumably going to make you feel like death the next morning, and I can think of a million things I'd rather spend that money on in the parks.

If you make a day of it and stay hydrated it's really not a problem (from experience, done it 4? times and have never been sick or out of commission the next day). 11 Disney drinks (so not terribly strong) over 10 hours doesn't overwhelm your liver.
