have you ever had one ?

I have had several, any time your involved in an accident at work rather its your fought or not, all party's involved take one. Plus work gives random test every couple month's

I've only had one. This was when I went to a pain management dr for a badly pinched nerve that was taking forever to get better and hurt so bad I couldn't sleep. I guess they wanted to make sure I wasn't just trying to get pain drugs.

The funny thing is when they gave me the cup and told me why, I got nervous as if it would be positive, although the only drugs I take is Tylenol!

. that is so me, I freak out and I know I didn't take anything. Work gave us a list of things you might teats positive for and the number 1 reason people say when they get caught. One I remember is like 60 percent of the people who test positive for pot say they were at a concert and the person next to them was smoking it

the hair ones go back forever. A buddy of mine had to take one for a job he just started, and he smoked dope, anyway he heard drinking vinegar before a test would make it pass, and he his some of his pregnant girl friend pee in rectum . He said it didnt feel up tube so he also peed a little bit in it. They called him a couple days later and told him they wont need him anymore

A friend was asked to take a random drug test on a morning she had a poppy seed muffin for breakfast. She was so freaked out! It didn't come back positive .

one employer did random test, but i was never chosen, cause they said i was already loony enough without drugs imagine what i would be like with them it was actually a fun place to work, ok, just for the pranksters. those were the days, now everyone is so pc and uptight. party poopers

I was tested twice for skating. Once at Nationals in Colorado and once at Worlds in Croatia. The first time I had taken an Advil and was pretty nervous. I remember getting the list of banned substances and being shocked at some of the over the counter medications that were on it. Basically anything that would make you feel better was banned (NyQuil, Sudafed, etc.).

My aunt used to be a supervisor in a group home for mentally disabled adults. They required drug testing before being hired. She got a call from the lab, the applicant's specimen was at room temperature.........

She said she was shocked at how many people she thought were good applicants, she hired them subject to the drug test and they came back positive.

Me...never. But my husband has, multiple times. He works in construction so any type of accident on the job or with a company vehicle requires a drug test. Get a cut and need medical attention, drug test. Car accident that is not your fault, drug test. And of course, you need the drug test to even be hired in the first place.

I've taken probably 30 over the years. Anytime I have been hired I have had to take one due to the nature of the job plus random tests. I've heard people complaining about taking them but heck I'd take one everyday if they wanted me to. If I'm off and my name is drawn I'll gladly draw the three hours overtime and if my name is drawn and I'm working heck thats just time I dont' have to be doing something else.


Drug tests and background checks are just things I've learned to accept and expect.

My work does random drug tests (school bus drivers) So I've been randomly chosen MANY times over the past 10 years. It's mostly peeing in the cup but I did have to do the breathalizer (sp) test a couple times as well.

I have taken many over the years- everytime you miss 10 working days off work in a row you are required to go to medical and pee in a cup. So for every surgery, baby, bad illness etc you have to go to company medical. The cup had a built in thermometer and as soon as you pee you have to hand it out the door. They take everything from us when we go in the bathroom-even cell phones because people have taken empty cell phone cases and hidden urine in them . The water in the toilet has a dark blue chemical in it so you cant dilute your urine with that and the tank is locked shut with a hasp and lock! There is no sink in the bathroom you take the drug test in so you have no access to water in there. Even if you know you are clean its an odd feeling having to do that.
I am glad my partying days were way over when all this random drug test stuff started!

all the time at work, but they just send you into the bath room with blue dye in the tolit and the sink sealed off not big deal.

Now to go visit my now son (was in the process of adopting him), when he was in foster care I had to have a drug test. I got it local and new nothing of the company so I called thim and they said come in at 4 pm, so when I did show up talk to the lady behind the glass in front office told her I had an "appointment" for pee test. She is real nasty to me, says they dont do appointments. I told her well what ever you call it, when one calls thim and they tell you the time to show up. I'm a guy and there were no men to witness it. She thin asked who sent me I told her it was Family services in a naboring state and I needed it to visit my soon to be son. She got real nice to me than. I found out there usall clint is people on parroll so guess she was thinking I was a crimenal.

It was the worst pee test I'v ever had. the guy came in the bathroom with you stood right at your side with a mirror placed on your other side. Was hard to get the flow going if you know what I mean.

I knew of course I was going to pass, they even asked me what drugs I was wanting checked for at $10 a drug so I just picked 3 of the more common street drugs, but if I had taken something I could/would have just told thim to not test for that drug, kind of a waste of money but the state loves to make you jump through hoops.
