I have posted many threads stating how terrified of drops I am. I really want to try some new rides this year. I think I will be okay on BTMRR and Space Mountain. I will NEVER go on Spalsh Mountain, and I am told Rock and Rolelrcoaster doesnt have any drops so i will probably try that. I don't think I can get myself to do ToT even though its a different type of drop. I was wondering how big EE drops are. I know it goes backwards, that doesnt bother me, but if it has drops anywhere near the size of splash, i dont think i can do it lol. thanks!

Are you aware RnR goes upside down?

yeah, that doesn't bother be. I don't know how I can go upside down, on all kinds of corkscrews, yet I am scared of drops that are any bigger than POTC.

It does have drops, and I thought it was quite a bit worse than Splash, which I don't find bad at all. It feels more like a kiddy ride. I got off EE saying that I didn't think I would do it again (it was amazing, but I am prone to motion sickness) and I didn't on my next visit but now I am ready and I am sure I will do it next time. Worse for me than ToT but again, it's the motion sickness thing. I think people that aren't motion-sick would find it to be a wonderful ride.

Well, EE has one (if not two) MAJOR drops.

That said, they don't "bother" me like the one on SPLASH does.

If you don't consider the major "loops" on RnR "drops" (I DO, btw), then you should not mind the one(s) on EE.

You want to know something strange? I LOVE TT at MGM but am scared to death of Space MT, Splash, RNR, EE! I can take the whole floor droping but sitting in a little car on a track and pitching forward (feeling like Im gonna fall) just gives me a heartattack.. I loved Space MT as a teenager but then as an adult I wouldnt ride until my kids talked me into it March last yr and I made such a fool of myself on it I was so scared I really thought I was gonna have a heartattack! I did promise my DS I would do Splash this yr tho..Oh and my fave is Mission Space! Am I weird or what?

LOL! I don't think that I'm so scared of "falling foward" type thing, I just HATEHATE that FEELING in your stomach when you go down drops. Most people love it. I'm so weird lol

The drops are not that bad on EE. The hardest part of the ride is a corkscrew when you are facing backwards. I consider EE to be a little tamer than RNR.

I've also wondered about the drop! :rotfl: I love Splash, but don't really like coasters (I don't mind BTMR/hate Space Mnt)! I also love Dinosaur! Will I like EE??? :lmao:  :lmao:

Why, yes you will.

I have to be the biggest baby alive when it comes to rides. I would never ride anything. In the past few years I have become very brave (by my standards!). I started by riding Big Thunder, then Splash, then Dinosaur, then Tower of Terror and then Everest. For our next trip I am contemplating Space Mountain. The drop in Splash is the worst drop to me. It is just a horrible stomach falling sensation. That said, the hill in Everest and the drop on ToT don't give me that sensation. I don't know how to describe it, but it is just totally different. If you can survive Splash you can survive Everest. The hill is a very short moment and the rest of the ride isn't that intense. Just scream at the top of your lungs and make yourself have a good time! :teeth:

We also hate drops on roller coasters but had a blast on EE. It isn't that bad and it goes really quickly.

Can anyone tell me how high this ride is? How high are you at its highest point?

Just curious?

Also anyone took a 5 nearly 6 year old on? He will meet the height restriction and he loves BTMR. :Pinkbounc

The original ride baby here!!! I hate dropping. It took me 5 years to get comfortable on Splash Mt!! Sad, I know. I still don't like ToT..I'll do it, but I'm not happy about it. Love RnRC though. So...EE. Well, I was a bit, okay more than a bit, terrified in May as I stood in line. But, 14 EE rides later, within 80 minutes, I was quite happy!! Yes, 14 times in a row.
The drop is about 80', but it curves off to the left, so it doesn't feel as nasty as it might. My dd, 12, was horrified the first time she did it, but it's her favorite ride now. We have the photo from her first time, as well as the photo from her last ride....huge difference in her face!!

It does get 'right up there' in that area where the cars go over the bridge area that you can see from afar. It took me awhile to get used to looking out at the scenary but it's really quite the view. I really think that that is the highest point....at least the highest point you can actually see from.

Oh lord Im getting sweaty thinking about these drops..lol Ok, Im gonna plan on trying to make myself get on Splash and BTMR but still not sure about EE. If I can enjoy the others maybe I will try EE. The worst part is standing in line and then when the cars climb the hills for the drops, its like torture when you know whats coming! I always have to remind myself to breathe! I was so scared on Space Mt that I apprently held my body real stiff and its kind of a jerky bumpy ride so by the time I got off the ride my whole body ached.. lol
