dropping off rental car at Dolphin

Our situation is a little unique - we are driving to Disney with a rental car but want to return it at the start of our stay. We are going to drive to Pop Century, check in, take our luggage in and then return the car. I would like to return it to the Dolphin resort, but I have read that it closes early?? If we are just dropping off the car, does it matter? Would we be better dropping it off at the Transportation Center? Thanks so much!

It does close at 4pm..But I have read that people have left there keys with the valet at this time and it is taken care or...I would call the Dolphin desk directly to verify this option.

The National Car Rental Desk at the Dolphin closes at 4PM. If you return later, you give the keys to valet and they will return the keys to Nat'l. You can request that National send you a copy of your final bill in the mail.
You can also call the following day to confirm your total billed to your cc.

National no longer has a car rental desk at the Car Care Center, only Alamo.
