Dropping off a rental car??

Hi,
Im crusin' Jan 22nd!!! I am actually getting to Orlando on the 20th to spend a day at Disney.
Question...I'm renting a car (well, actually haven't done so yet), I will only be needing the car for 2 days. I was wondering...Do they have car rental places at Port Canavaral where I can possibly drop the car off. We have a ride from the cruise to the airport afterwards so no need to keep the car once we get to the dock.

Yes, there are several car rental agencies that you can drop a rental car off near the port area. But, I believe only Avis and Budget have free shuttles that will take you to the terminal. We are flying into Orlando this afternoon and will be renting a car from Budget until Tuesday morning, then we will drop the car off at the Budget location and ride their shuttle to the port. The Budget office is only about a block away from the Radisson, and the Avis office is next to Shirley's shop The Perfect Gift. Both of these offices are located on A1A.

Hertz also has an office near the port. They have a free shuttle or will reimberse $20 in cab fare.

You might consider dropping everyone in your party (and the luggage) off first, then returning the car. That's my plan for our February cruise.

Like VM, we'll be renting from Budget for our cruise next week. It is the first time we've done this as we've always had either DCL transfers or a town car service. Everyone says it is really easy, so we're taking their word for it!
