Dropping car after hours at Disney Car Center?

We will have a rental car and are going to drop it off at the Disney Car Center as it is so much cheaper than returning it at the airport. We will be coming from Universal, checking in at Pop, the next day moving to Bay Lake and going to MK, and then leaving the next day. We had looked at returning the minivan the morning we move over to Bay Lake (have DH drop us off and return the car alone). But I wondered if we would be able to drop it off the evening we check into Pop as it would save time the next morning. I know the shuttle wouldn't be there, but he could call a Lyft to get back to Pop. I just wasn't sure if they allowed after hour drop offs or how they work.

Look into returning it at the Dolphin instead. After houtprs, you leave it with the Valet. Then, assuming you're doing it within an hour of park closing, he should be able to walk to RE or Epcot, and use the Sky!iner. But thou can't just randomly change your return location. You have to do it in advance.

I don't know that the CCC has a procedure for after hours returns.

Thanks for the info. It seems like Alamo at the Dolphin is still showing closed, but I will keep my eye on it as that would be a great option.

Okay. If you go to the Alamo website and search for a rental, then select the Car Care Center, there should be a direct phone number for the location. Call and ask about returning after hours.

When I made my reservation, it said when returning after hours, to leave the keys in the slot at the Car Care Center. See below.

We orginally had a reservation one way twice at the beginning and end of our trip,but found if i went with a lesser known company my rate was less and I had the car the whole time. We got a large suv for 22 a day from Ace rent a car.
Last March we dropped our car off at the car care center and had used lyft to bring my DH back. Had a half price promo code because we dont use it much it was cheap.

Do they not offer a shuttle anymore? I thought I had read they did sometime before. Either way, we will be at Bay Lake, so the Lyft shouldn't be very expensive. It saves us $250 to drop off at the car care center vs returning it to the airport.

Also factor in even though you are dropping it off after hours some times will bill you for the next day as well because they will not be checking the car in until their next business day. SO I would check with Alamo on how they bill the after hours drop off.

Thanks everyone! Rental prices dropped so we are just going to return it the day we leave to save time on our park days.
