Can it be saved? I'm trying to dry it out now. I've taken the battery out & have it drying seperately. Any other ideas?

Distilled water doesn't have an minerals that could short out circuits.

Charade said:Can't hurt. It's probably still moist inside.
The battery is sealed pretty good so there proably isn't any water in it. Just wipe it down with a slightly damp cloth dipped in distilled water and then let them both dry 24 hours.

Charade said:No because the alcohol you have is probably 70 or 80 percent. It still has some impurities in it. Just use the distilled water.
If the phone doesn't work, check with your home owners insurance. They may cover it.
That's actually true. Under the battery there is a little white sticker. If the phone has gotten wet, this sticker will turn pink. Cell phone stores now look for this sticker when customers come in with "unexplained" phone problems. Try checking yours. If your phone stops working and that sticker is still mostly white, try bringing it to the store. They might be able to help.Towncrier said:Cell phone manufacturers now put an indicator inside the phone that lets them know if the phone has been dunked. I guess too many people were dropping their phones into toilets.![]()
