Drop off rental car

Can you tell me the best solution for us?
We will need to return a rental car from our beach trip.
Coming on a Friday to Port Orleans and checking into Poly on Saturday.

I’m thinking the cheapest thing since parking is being charged, is to drop off car Friday. If we do this how what is the closest drop off spot( Alamo). Then do they offer transportation back to PO?
Then next day we will Minnie Van to poly. ( not sure how much that is too)

Or should we keep car and pay rental and parking that night then drop off when we are at poly next day? We know how to drop off over there.

What we have done is drop the car off at the Alamo location at the Dolphin resort. Then walk/bus over to Hollywood Studios and grab a bus to our resort. Easy peasy.

Our plan is to drop off at the Car Care Center. They have a shuttle according to the Disney site.

Rental and parking is probably more than a Minnie Van.

Do you mind me asking where you both are getting your rentals from? I think this year we will rent a car for the drive down for the first time and I know virtually nothing about finding a good deal on a rental. I too was thinking of dropping it off at the car care center.

I booked through Costco. Picking up at MCO.

We are renting in ft Myers. Just going to Disney a few days at end of trip. We will turn it in for the few days at Disney and take The magical express to airport morning we leave.

Can I ask which beach you plan on going too? I rented a car from the car care center, states they will pick you up and drop you off if staying onsite, just give then at least 1 hour notice. We did this last trip and ended up in Daytona, had a great day as they let you drive on the beach......
