Drop off question

Hi,
We are having a town car service drop us off at IoA. Anyone know how long it takes to get from the drop off area to the park entrance?? Every second counts! TIA

Where are they dropping you off?

If you are getting dropped off by the valet parking area, it's just a short escalator ride up, one moving sidewalk, and you're at the entrance to CityWalk. From there it takes maybe 5 minutes to walk over to the IOA entrance, if you walk quickly. Beware that once you get in the park, the entrance to WWoHP is way in the back, it will take you another 5-10 minutes to walk back there.

I'd say 10 to 15 minutes. It always feels like such a long walk.

Thanks for the responses. I've never been to Universal so I have no idea where the car service people are allowed to drop their riders off at. I think I'll plan for 15 minutes and hope for 5!

The guest drop off point is under the parking garage, across the street from valet parking. It doesn't look that far away from the pedestrian entrance, which is how I went. I didn't time myself, but there is no way it took more than 10 minutes, probably closer to 5.

People make fun of how fast I walk though, so if you are going with small children or someone who walks slowly, it might take a little longer.

Are you buying pre-printed tickets? Or do you have to pick them up at the will call office? You can save yourself some time if you can get the tickets early, then you will not have to wait in line to pick them up and can go straight into the park.
