drop off areas at theme parks

We are headed down to WDW in a week. My husband has a torn miniscus and has some difficulty walking long distances. Does each theme park have a drop off area where I can leave him, park the car and meet up with him at the front gates? We have a handicapped parking pass and will be parking in the accessible lot. I suspect it is still a far walk to the gates from there. He's hoping not to use a scooter in the parks--we go down often and will just be taking it slow this time, however a drop off location would be helpful.

There is a "wheelchair corral" at each of the disabled parking areas where you can get a free wheelchair that you can use up to the location where the rental chairs/ECVs are available. These are specially marked chairs that are not for in-park use. And when you turn in the rental you can borrow one of these to get back to Parking.
