drop drop time.

From a time savings perspective it's not really debatable and correlating time savings to maximizing one's ticket value is a pretty fair correlation. It may not be for everyone, but it makes alot of sense for those wanting to do alot of headlining attractions and want to wait in lines the least amount of time to do so.

Never understood.
I didn't grasp why one would stand that long in line just to beat a few minutes per ride in the early hours. It seemed like it wouldn't save enough time to make up for it.

That said, if people have put it to the test and say they can save a lot of time overall, than who am I argue?

I think it really comes down to what your family really wants from the day and what your normal life looks like. A family with children where you wake early I would expect you to have a better time at rope drop. You're used to that time, you're awake, you're energetic. I don't wake up early as my normal life doesn't require it and when I do, it's a process to wake up and want to do anything. For me rope drop is foreign, I'm tired, I'm not getting between rides quick, and I'm not really awake yet to enjoy them the same way. Getting in later and closing the place down is a normal schedule for me.

I don't think it's apples to apples comparison for rope vs not rope dropping, it really comes down to what works best for your family and how you want to vacation. mine would not save as much time as others do so it doens't work for us even when we try it.
