I wanted to add that DH doesn't have an iPod (has no interest in one), doesn't have Facebook and doesn't care what kind of camera the phone has ~ he won't use it. LOL
He'll mainly be using the phone as a media device for work (check emails while traveling, etc) and calling, so for him, this phone will be a working device, not a toy.![]()
If that's the case, he should go with a Blackberry.
Someone mentioned NetFlix, it is now available on Android phones.

Thanks, I have been waiting for that!!If that's the case, he should go with a Blackberry.

Blackberry keys are way too small for my fingers...and would be impossible for DH.![]()
oh yeah. I experienced ALOT of dropped calls with the iphone via at&t. My sis has the iphone with Verizon, same thing. She never complained when she had the blackberry with Verizon, now that she has the iphone with Verizon, her language is very colorful!I have the android with sprint LOVE it! I've had it for almost 6 months, and I'm very happy with it!
Contrary to popular opinion, it's not the network.
I find Apple's refusal to support Flash truly mind-boggling. I have an iPod Touch and use it mostly for web surfing and I find not being able to view Flash content a real pain at times.

I have a Droid X - came from Blackberry due to the restrictive functionality.
If your DH is going to use it primarily for business and Primarily for phone/email/calendar then I'd really suggest going BlackBerry...I know it wasn't ne of your selections, but it is the absolute best for "business" functionality.
The Droid X I have is very nice and I like it and all the features that go along with it...front facing camera would be nice for skype or video chats...however one thing to consider that I am surprised has not been mentioned here...or no one has experieinced the issue (it is a KNOWN issue in the android forums/community)...If you are using an internet service provider email (cablevision, comcast, time warner etc..) there is an issue sometimes (not often) with the data push that casues emails to be delayed or hung up in the phone - you will not know until you start receiving a bunch of emails that are 3-4 hours old, and any "critical" email that you have sent is not received or responded to in a timely fashion.
Now again this is a relatively minor inconvneience unless you are planning to use this for business (and not hooking up to an enterprise microsoft exchange server) or if like me you rely on your isp email for certain things like handling the scheduling emails for an entire youth hockey organization...when an email gets delayed for me that's a problem. Having been a BB user hitting send means it's sent...period...now I forced myself to cc myself on all correspondence so I KNOW for sure when I receive it that it truly was sent.
If your DH is planning on just using a Gmail account than it is NO problem at all. Some folks have used an app called K-9 to enhance their isp email experience, but I did not like the combining of email accounts into a single mail box (which is why I left BB in the first place).
As for calendaring and android phone will allow you to install multiple calendar widgets and specify between the 2 (business / personal).
Not an iphone fan due to some of the other things folks have mentioned...although no one mentioned the fact that you cannot get insurance on an iphone (the $6/month) version that you can get with just about ANY other phone you buy from Verizon anyway) and you can't replace the battery - or carry a spare battery in case you know you are going to use it all up and not have any ability to find a charger.

Just to clear up an incorrect statement, you can seperate your e-mail boxes in a Blackberry. It's just an option.
