Hello,

This is my first post so I hope I'm posting this in the correct location! I'm heading to California at the end of the month (UK resident), and I have a couple of questions about the Droid Depot. Firstly, from what I understand, as I'm from the UK, is the only way to make a reservation on the phone? And if I do, does this charge me any international rates or anything like that?

Is Droid Depot the kind of service that definitely requires a booking well in advance, or could this be a walk up on the day type thing?

Lastly, how easy/heavy are the droids to bring home in a suitcase? I should be fine for weight limits, but from what I can see, the box they're given out in look quite bulky.

Any other general tips would be well appreciated.

Thanks for any help. :)

Things have calmed down since Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge first opened and it's now easy to get a reservation, or even walk in.

Reservations are available online, but maybe only for people accessing the Disneyland website (or app) from within the U.S.?

How long will you be in the States? Maybe you could make a reservation once you get here. I just checked and there are plenty of openings today, which should be busy since it's a Saturday.

I just measured the box, and it's 26mm wide by 38mm long. The droids aren't heavy at all, but the box is bulky, so you'll have to measure your suitcase to see whether it will fit.

You can find plenty of videos online to get an idea of the colors and shapes available.

Have fun!

Thanks for your reply, that's really useful to know! Yeah, I think app reservations for stuff like Droid Depot are only available when you're in the U.S from what I can tell. We'll be there for about six days, so I'm hopeful that there will be enough time to sort a reservation. From what you've said, it doesn't seem like it should be a problem now that it's quietened down a little!
