Going to build droids with the kids. Curious what you guys did with them while at park? Did u do late at night or early I. Day so can take back to hotel? Or can you take them on rides? Just curious. Thanks. Come on June 11th

We booked one of the latest appointments for the day specifically so we wouldn't have to carry them around for long. You can bring them on some rides though. I don't know about all rides, but we did bring them on Millennium Falcon.

They sell backpacks that you can buy to carry the droids. For kids, it might be cool, for us it would have been a waste of money. They do come in a box with a carry handle. We booked to build late enough that we didn't have to worry too much. G8DH and Whatever my husband named his not as cool as mine droid pretty much just got to enjoy a walk through Batuu, dinner at Hollywood and Vine, and a trip on the Skyliner. G8DH did not enjoy that trip at all. He complained the whole way. We had to turn him off at the hotel because he would not stop complaining about it.

Oh fun! That's our HS day too Also wanting to get a Droid reservation.

We built ours on a day that we had a mid-day break planned, with our build time around 10:30. It was back in 2019 when HS opened for the day around 5 or 6 AM, so we took a break for lunch off site, then hopped to another park. So we pretty much built the droids, walked around Galaxy's Edge with them for a little bit, then worked our way out of the park. I am very short and found the box pretty awkward to carry, so I'm glad we didn't have to deal with that in the park for very long.
