Hi
We are driving to disney tomorrow morning, we should arrive about 10am.
We are staying @ All Star Music. What time of day do you think would be best to check in? We originally we just going to go right to the parks, but I called last night and spoke to a CM and they suggested going to the hotel first.

The CM said we could check in and leave our luggage, get our parking passes and then go to the parks. Do you thing that 10 am would be busy? also, do you know if they have hair dryers or should I bring my own.
Thanks!!

I would go directly to check in. Then if your room is not ready, you can go to the parks, DTD, or swim and return later to check in.

You may get lucky and get your room. Also, we have had good luck with getting our requests met when we check in early. Not sure that it matters, however, it has worked well for us.

Have a great time!

I agree. Check in first and then go to the parks. When you come back you don't need to stop at the front desk.

I drive to WDW each time I visit. I have checked into ASMu twice and POFQ once. Each time it was at 10 am -ish. This turned out ot be the best time to check in in my experience. I never had to wait in line mor than one occasion and that was just a minute or two. No one was checking in the last two trips we made. I was checking in on Friday the last two times with no wait. I checked in ASMu one Saturday and that was the time I had a minute or two wait. Each visit was end of July or first week in August..so same time frame. I would check in immediately and then go to the parks for lunch.

Def go check in first - there usually aren't lines that early in the day. We checked in around that time at WL in May and walked right up and our room was already ready! So you just never know.

I agree with previous posters...check in first....they will give you a parking pass so you don't have to pay to park, and you can leave your luggage.....either with bell services or in your room if it happens to be ready...a day in a locked car in this heat will do unkind things to toiletries, etc in your luggage....not to mention any food or electronics you have with you. It is just deadly.

I also like to check in early because the line at the front desk will be SOO much more manageable at 10AM than it will be at 3 or 4 in the afternoon. Even if your room is not ready at 10AM they will give you your room keys and a number to call later to check and see if your room is available. When the room is ready they will tell you and you can go straight there....no more waiting at the desk.
