Driving yourself or getting a car service

Ok, I am sure there is another post like this one somewhere on here but come on now there are like 87 pages to filter through and even a search yields like 20 pages!

SO, my question was we are doing the land and sea package where we will need transportation from MCO to CBR to PC to MCO. Would it be better to rent a car and drive myself (and possibly get lost, which I am prone to doing) and deal with all that hassle, or would it be better to hire a town car service?

People rent a car when they want to do other things, go to the space center for example.

Since you think renting a car is a hassle and you have a good shot of getting lost I'd just go with a towncar.

I think driving to and from the airport and around WDW property is very easy.

It is well marked. There are several ways to reach things on property but follow the signs and you will be fine.

I wrestled with that question, too. But after playing around with rental car discount codes and reading many posts about long lines at the rental car counters (we were going at a fairly busy time in June) and knowing that my husband is not a big fan of driving in unfamiliar territory, I checked out the town car rates. It was cheaper and more convenient for us to use the town car service. Now we didn't plan on leaving WDW property, so the rental car would have sat for the week which seemed like a waste.

There are many town car services talked about on these boards that people are very happy with. You may want to check out some of these and get some prices. We really enjoyed using the town car - it eliminated a lot of stress! But there are lots of people who want the freedom to go wherever, whenever that a rental car gives you.
