DH and I drove down to Orlando for a tradeshow today. It rained the entire drive back to Jacksonville. Why in the world do people not slow down in the rain? In a 3 or 4 mile stretch, we saw 6, yes 6 accidents. They were both northbound and southbound. One poor girl rear ended someone in her new car. Her car still had the temporary tag on it. Then someone in a minivan decided he wanted to change lanes and darn near ran into the side of us. My nerves were shot by the time we got home.

They just don't think.

Sorry it stressed you out so bad. Did you hold onto the door or anything? I've noticed that I do that in those types of situations.

I hate the semi trucks that zoom past you on wet/icy roads. They swerve, I swerve, it is a wonder there aren't more accidents. I completely agree with you, DRIVE FOR THE ROAD CONDITIONS..

I was doing that and saying quite a few Hail Marys.
