driving to wdw end feb/first week march I79?I77?

Hello:

Driving to wdw end of feb. Is it too early to try the route thru the mountains I79/I77 west virginia, virginia, etc.

Has anybody taken this route in the wintertime?

1) Our extended-family vacation is last-week-Feb and first-week-Mar.
2) Eleven members drive from Ohio through the mountains.
3) Usually a good ride, and not much snow/ice.

We have taken the route in the winter..........usually watch the weather though, if it calls for ice or significant snow we stick to I95 otherwise we enjoy the Shenandoah mountain route......Have fun!
