Driving to Universal?

We would like to spend one day at Universal Studios during our upcoming trip. How long is the drive from Anaheim and is it pretty easy to find? We are trying to decide whether or not to take a tour that includes Universal or drive our rental van. We would probably be going on a Sunday which I hope would help with the traffic.

I'm interested in the answer to your question as well. I have heard that there is a Universal shuttle that picks up in the Disneyland area, but I don't know that 100%. I would appreciate any responses as well.

On a Saturday we did the drive from Anaheim to Hollywood in just under an hour - it was pretty straightforward and there was only one minor traffic snarl.

Not aware of any Universal shuttle, but there were certainly plenty of tours, some of which combined it with a tour of Hollywood and LA, which sounded like a good package.
