Driving to MGM question

Has anyone ever driven to MGM to see Fantasmic? We will be at Carribean? Directions if you have them and is the traffic heavy after the show. Is it better to drive or use the bus?

We used the bus with no problems. They anticipate a large group of people leaving and have extra buses there. We did sit up pretty high in the stands and did hurry to the bus stop but had no trouble getting a bus.

I'd go with the bus. What we have done after the show is, rather than rush out to the buses, we browse through the shops, which will stay open for awhile. By the time we get to the bus stop, most of the crowds are gone, and we can easily get on the bus back to the resort.

If you choose to drive, exit CBR through the main entrance and turn left onto Buena Vista Drive. Turn left at the second traffic light. You're there. Total travel time is about 5 minutes.

Traffic will be heavy after Fantasmic, but it's the same traffic the buses have to deal with. It clears out fairly quickly.
