Has anyone from Ontario (Toronto), driven to Disney? If so, what route do you usually take?

We always take I-75 - Florida Turnpike - RT 429 (Exit 267 along the Turnpike) when driving into WDW.

Cross at Fort Erie-90-79-19-77-26-95-4 ,this is our summer route. In the winter we will go 75.

we are in london and when we drive we go I-75..havent driven any other way but we enjoy the drive

We've driven the I-95 and the I-75 and I prefer the I-75. We found the time difference was really not big (on mapquest it said a couple hours so we thought we'de try it but it came to about an hour difference).
The I-75 is easy, you stay on the same highway until Florida. It is also a clean, well maintained highway that is very nice to drive. It has clear marked rest stops and a lot of them.

This is the way we always take - took the I75 last year as I had a side trip first and I found it very busy as it takes you through a lot of city centers - the 79-77 route is more picturesque, less busy centers to drive through, and a ton of beautiful rest areas, as well as loads of exits for popular restaurants/shopping/gas. Shorter too.

I love this route. The only traffic I have ever come across is Charlotte NC going both ways. There are plently of places to stop and eat or sleep. We live in Durham Region so I have a hard time driving west for 4 hours before turning south ;). But thats just me.

If you decide to take the I-75, there is a really good book called Along the I-75 that has the maps along the way, rest areas, restaurants, etc
