We are booked for August. We will be driving from London Ontario to Disney.

MapQuest is telling me the drive is 20hours. The I75 book is adding up to 24hours.

Neither of these are counting delays/stops/etc. This is just what I am factoring from actual on the road steady driving.

Why is it such a difference between to two options? I am trying to get a good estimate as to our arrival day/time and 4hours a lot of time for a trip like this.

Anyone else driven from the area? Lol and a organization freak like me who tracked the actual driving time?

I am 1 hour west of you. We have driven straight down and it has taken us anywhere from 18.5 to 22 hours based on gas and a couple of meal stops going I75.

Thanks, I guess the info is hard to be 100%. We are planning the drive with two stops, the last being about 6pm. I'm just worried that we'll end up being 5min from Disney when we make that stop lol.

I don't trust MapQuest. Or Google Maps. Or Bing Maps. Dave Hunter has actually done that drive more times than he can count; that book is based on exhaustive research. That said, he does the speed limit--which is really a good idea, since you will see more cops on your drive than you do in Ontario in a month, and unlike here, the speed limits are not suggestions, they're enforced. The further south you go the more likely a cop will tail you for a few miles just looking for something to pull you over for.
Your best bet is to take the difference between the map sites and ALONG I-75...and then lean slightly in favour of the latter. Call it 22.5 hours...

From London it's approx. 21 driving hours on the I75 route. Speed does play a big factor....I think that if you stick to the limit it will take you closer to the 24 hour mark.

When we drive we generally go with the flow of traffic and find that it's 5-10miles over the limit. Also, the limits are higher than here in Canada. Last summer I drove a 4 hr shift and noticed that going with the flow I was doing 127km.
