Driving Schools for Teens??

My DD is due to start driving lessons next month. I am realizing that the choice of driving schools is a pretty important decision - both to be sure that she is safely supervised while she is taking the lessons and that she gets the right training to insure the safety of others as she takes to the road. Do any of you have suggestions for what I should ask about the school, instructors, methods, etc. when I call? Any experiences or advice that might help us choose among the many schools? Thanks!

Our high school offers a drivers ed program. Could you call the school to see if they have any recommendations?
