Driving Route Question-I-95/I-4/417-???

We will be driving down on Sunday 9/13 and driving home on Friday 9/18.
We usually drive I-95 straight down to the In-Laws in Vero Beach (only a mile south of the Disney Resort) and then drive up to WDW from there, so I have never had to get off of 95 Southbound at I-4.
My questions concern both Jacksonville and I-4 versus 417.
Is there a "better" way thru J'Ville than straight down 95 on a Sunday around 1PM?
Once I hit I-4, if tolls were NOT an issue, would you stay on I-4 or use SR417, and why???

I'd just stay on I-95 and I-4 at the times you'll be cruising through Jax and Orlando. There are no tolls on I-4.

Why??? Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuh! Traffic volumes shouldn't be a problem on either road - unless someone decides to wreck.

However, you may encounter an I-4 slowdown on the westbound side just west of the Sand Lake/I-Drive area which is typical for around 4pm on Sats/Suns.

I agree w/ Endeavour. But think that you could make it from Jax to Disney before traffic becomes much of an issue.
