That's the route I took last year HoboGary...really enjoyed the 66/17 stretch (hardly any traffic).
When I used my TripMaker software this afternoon, it said the quickest route (although actually longer in distance) is to cross at Detroit & follow I75 all the way to Florida. Why would it be quicker even thought longer, any idea?
Since the Backstreet Boys concert was cancelled here for Friday night (daughter is devastated although feeling better now that she knows it's been re-scheduled), we are now leaving Friday morning (prefer to leave a day sooner & be back a day sooner as we are flying out west for a family vacation on July 31).
So now I have 1 day less to finalize my plans...seems like all I've done today is work on my Disney plans (good thing it's slow season for my business).
Appreciate any advice re: the route to take. Detroit route sounds interesting only because I've never been that way before (but hate the thought of going through that city).
Guess what I'll be doing all night...thank goodness for DSL internet.
