We are heading down in a few weeks and my wife's clients have made her nervous about the route through the "mountains" at that time of year (Nov/Dec). The mountains I know are out west and are breathtaking and huge.
I do not want to go all the way west to I75 and do not think a storm would be a big deal on the Buffalo route, I90 or I 95, I think. I have a full size 4x4 and plow snow so any weather should not be a problem driving in it.
The question is there a chance of weather being that bad at that time of year and is it any worse than a bad storm up here in the winter? Apparently four extra hours is riding on the answer
