Driving myself crazy over Ohana!

We ate there in August and thought it was wonderful! The servers were so nice and friendly and the food was great. (especially the bread pudding) :cloud9:

Just back from our trip. Potatoes were great, banana bread pudding was good, meat was inedibly dry and service was lousy. We've been before and were looking forward to it this time, but won't be going back. Try Kona or Boma in MK or Teppan Edo in Epcot. Teppan Edo was very fun and the best meal we had all week.

DH adult DS and I ate there 2 years ago and I loved it. We had a great table with a great view and to my surprise got to see Wishes over desert. I thought the food was good and our services was excellent.
I went again in April with DS and grandkids and again we loved it. It is a great restaurant for little ones too.
Go and enjoy.

We have been to Ohana 4 times in the past 2 years. The first year we went it was our first dinner & we loved it so much, we made it our last night dinner!! I think sometimes you just need to try things out for yourself. What is awesome to you, may be terrible to others.

A group of us went for dinner last month. I thought the food was very good, and I will definitely return.

Give it a shot. Even if you don't like the food, chances are you will like the drinks;) :earsboy:

We are planning our third trip in May. Ohana is a MUST! It will be our third reservation there! We LOVE it! OMG - the shrimp is delicious!

As a group of adults, you can do SO much better than Ohana :sad2: .

My DH refuses to ever go here again. He loves meat but not here. It is just not done well.

I am glad so many people have had better experiences, but 3 times lousy is 2 chances too many for us

:goodvibes

We've never been either and we have it booked for our trip in March. It sounds so intresting and fun. I think my kids will love it, even if they don't like the food. 1/2 of us didn't like the food at HDDR but we loved the show and had heard good and bad reviews on it too. I'm the type of person to take a chance because it is a good chance that other people won't like it but YOU will. Best of luck with your choices and most of all have FUN!!!:yay:

We love 'Ohana. We went for the first time last January, and will be going back next January. It was fun, the food was good, and the service was outstanding.

Despite the mixed reviews, we are planning on eating their for the first time next May. I figure if it is bad, it is just one dinner out of 7...and I think I can fill up on the potatoes and dessert alone!

I went there two times in one week. My Dh and I loved it. both times the food was so good the servers always brought more of what we wanted. the meat was not dry at all, I don't know why some people say that, it is not true. Love this place and can't wait to go back. wanted to book it for dec 9 I will be in the world but it is already booked up no availability. :(

We ate there this past July and it was wonderful!! Our entire family enjoyed the food, the view and the overall experience. I vote "go for it!"

Everyone in my party loved the place. The food was good and our service was actually kind of on the slow side. Our waitress was efficient but not overly friendly. The adults liked it more than the kids. We will most likely return again.
