Just be careful and take breaks as needed if visibility gets bad. There were reports of tornado watches this morning so I would keep the radio tuned to a local station - that way if any more watches or warnings crop up, you can get off the road.

We are pushing our drive back a day or two. Not ideal but we want to see what the storm is going to do before we get out there.

I'd plan on your drive taking several hours longer than expected. Your speeds will be severely restricted in that amount of rain.
