Hello. I realize I'm slightly nuts already, but I hope someone can assist me. We are driving from Wisconsin to Disney World in October with DD5 and DS3. We're also bringing our two dogs (see, I told you I was nuts). Anyway, we're going down via I-94 / 65 / 24 / 75. The dogs are good travelers so far, but we've never more than a 5 hour trip with them. Does anyone know of any areas not too far off of the highway that I could let them off the leash for some running time? One is a spaniel/lab mix, the other is part Australian Cattle Dog. Needless to say, they both love to run. Around here, there are several fenced in off-leash dog parks. If anyone knows of places like that along our route, I would most appreciate it. And my dogs will provide sloppy, wet kisses if you would like. Any other tips for traveling long distances with dogs would be welcome. We are staying with relatives about 40 minutes outside of Disney, so they will be in good hands when we are at the parks.
Thanks!
